Search On For Man Who Punched Subway Conductor On E Train At Spring Street

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching late Tuesday for a suspect who attacked a subway train conductor in a SoHo station.

Around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, the conductor, a 49-year-old man, was on a southbound E Train stopped in the Spring Street A, C and E train station when he stuck his head out of the service window, police said.

The suspect came up and punched the conductor in the face, police said.

Police have released surveillance video of the suspect.
