Seward Park High School Cheerleading Squad Raises Enough Money For Trip To Nationals

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Dreams are coming true for a group of cheerleaders in Manhattan.

The Sewark Park High School cheerleading squad on the Lower East Side qualified for nationals in December. The only problem was they needed $15,000 to cover flights and hotels.

The team set up a GoFundMe page and raised more than enough money to make the trip.

They head to Orlando, Florida, to compete in February.
