Seen On Video: Deer Rescued From Long Island Sound After Getting Paint Can Stuck On Head
LONG ISLAND SOUND, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A race to rescue a deer in distress was caught on camera Saturday in the Long Island Sound.
The deer was seen swimming with a paint can stuck on its head.
This rescue consisted of rolling down a cliff , going swimming , hanging off a boat and wrestling a deer in the water ! She is safe . Strong Island animal rescue .

Workers circled the doe for about 20 minutes, and finally managed to remove the can.
They eventually got the deer out of the water. It's now recovering at the Strong Island Animal Rescue and is expected to be fine.
