Search On For Suspects In Sunnyside, Queens Cellphone Store Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed a cellphone store and zip-tied the employees in Queens last month.

Police said around 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, the two men walked into the T-Mobile store at 46-01 Queens Blvd. in Sunnyside, Queens, which was closed at the time.

The men took out handguns and ordered the employees to the rear of the store, where the employees were zip-tied, police said.

The suspects took cash and electronics and ran off, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police have released a surveillance video of one of the suspects. No descriptions were provided.
