Search On For Suspects In String Of Robberies In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were searching for two suspects in connection with four robberies in Queens – one of them in Hollis and three near Kissena Park.

The robberies happened at the following times and locations:

• Around 4:50 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4 at 202nd Street and Hillside Avenue. A 63-year-old woman had her bag stolen after a man came up to her and took out a gun;

• Around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14 at 162nd Street and Booth Memorial Avenue. A 46-year-old woman was assaulted by a man who took her bag;

• Around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at 165th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway. A 46-year-old woman was approached by two men who snatched her purse;

• Around 12:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at 148th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway. A 23-year-old man was assaulted by two men who took his personal property.

The suspects are described as black males in their 20s, both standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds.

Police released a surveillance video of one suspect using a credit card taken in the fourth incident.
