Search On For Suspect Who Shot Woman, 19, As She Got Mail In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Friday were looking for a suspect who shot a young woman while she was getting her mail in Brooklyn.
Police said the 19-year-old was shot three times in her building lobby on Maple Street in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens around 1 a.m. Friday.
The incident appeared to be a robbery attempt, police said.
The woman was expected to survive her wounds, police said.
A $2,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.
