Search On For Suspect Who Allegedly Pulled Gun On Man In Midtown Subway Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were asking the public for help in finding a suspect who allegedly pulled a gun and tried to fire at a man in a Midtown East subway station, but ran off when the gun did not discharge.

Around 3:05 a.m. Saturday, July 13, the suspect got into a quarrel with the 50-year-old man on the northbound No. 4 train, police said.

They both got off the train at 51st Street and Lexington Avenue, and the suspect tried to shoot at the man, but ran off when the gun failed to fire, police said.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect.
