NYPD Search For Man Wanted In Manhattan Bank Robbery String

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a series of bank robberies in Manhattan earlier this year.

According to police, the suspect demanded money from a teller at a Santander Bank location on Lexington Avenue on March 8. The teller complied and the suspect left the scene was an undetermined amount of money.

The same suspect struck another Santander Bank on Third Avenue on May 12, fleeing with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Police have release surveillance photo of the suspect, which can be viewed above.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the incidents to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
