6 hurt, including 12-year-old boy, in crash on Route 17 in Orange County
MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. -- Route 17 in Orange County was closed to northbound traffic Friday morning following a crash.
It happened near Exit 119 in Wallkill.
Police say a Honda Pilot with six people inside went off the road and flipped several times.
Two people, including a 12-year-old boy, were ejected from the vehicle. The child was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition.
The other victims were taken to a nearby hospital.
New York State Police are looking into what caused the accident.
