Roof Collapses At Business In New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- The roof of a business in New Rochelle collapsed Thursday afternoon.

An investigation is underway to determine if heavy snowfall contributed to it.

The collapse happened at Mavis Discount Tire on North Avenue around 2 p.m.

Engineers were on the scene to inspect the building because the rest of the structure may have been compromised.

No one was hurt, officials said.
