Knicks Trade Prigioni To Rockets For 2 Draft Picks, Shved
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Knicks have traded guard Pablo Prigioni to the Houston Rockets for guard Alexey Shved and two second-round picks.
The Knicks will get one of the picks in 2017 and the other in 2019.
Prigioni averaged 4.7 points in 43 games this season, sitting out some as the Knicks turned to younger players. His departure leaves Carmelo Anthony as the only player left from New York's 2013 Atlantic Division championship team.
I want to thank the Knicks Family for giving me the opportunity to play for such an amazing organization over the past few seasons

The deal helps the Knicks continue shedding future salary, as Prigioni's $1.7 million for next season is partially guaranteed. Shved's contract expires after this season.
Shved, 26, has played for the 76ers as well as the Rockets this season. He's averaging 7.6 points, 1.9 assists and 1.0 rebound.
