Report: Passenger With Knife Removed From Delta Flight At Kennedy Airport

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Delta Air Lines plane was ordered back to its gate at John F. Kennedy International Airport before takeoff Thursday night due to a security scare.

Passengers said a flight attendant noticed a passenger with a knife on board the plane, which was bound for Amsterdam, according to a report on CBS This Morning.

Video from the plane showed officers in the aisle.

The passenger was removed from the plane, CBS This Morning reported. It is unclear if the passenger was arrested.

The Transportation Security Administration is not saying how the knife got past security.
