Fiber Cut Knocks Out Service For New York RCN Cable, Internet Customers
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- RCN cable, Internet and phone service was cut off for New York City customers Monday evening after a fiber was cut.
RCN reported on Twitter that a fiber cut was affecting its customers, and its services were cut out.
The company said it was working to correct the issue.

Customers reported their cable TV, Internet and home phone services were all affected.

RCN serves customers in sections of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. There was no immediate estimate available as to when service would return.
