Police: LI Rapper Shot In Stomach Outside North Patchogue Club
NORTH PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (CBSnewYork) -- Long Island rapper Donte Hobson, also known as "BOP" was shot in the stomach early Friday morning following a performance at a club, Suffolk County police said.
Hobson was shot at around 1:30 a.m. while standing outside V.I.P. Lounge, a nightclub in North Patchogue, police said. The rapper from Riverhead had just finished performing at the club at the time.
Hobson was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Medical Center where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. He was later released.
