13-Year-Old Boy Shot In The Chest In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A teenager was shot in the Bronx late Monday night.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Prospect Avenue near East 179th Street.
Police say the 13-year-old boy was shot in the chest.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by private means. He was last reported to be in serious but stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene.
