Police: Woman Steals Pair Of $945 Shoes From L.I. Saks 5th Avenue Store

HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County police are looking for an alleged shoe thief with expensive taste.

A woman stole a pair of Yves Saint Laurent shoes valued at $945 from a Saks Fifth Avenue store located at 230 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, police said.

The theft occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, police said.

Surveillance photos of the suspect have been released by police.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
