Police: Teen Fatally Shot, Another Critically Injured In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating after two teenagers were shot in Jamaica, Queens Sunday.
Police said the shooting happened around 3:20 p.m. in front of 143-07 Lakewood Ave.
When police arrived on the scene, officers found an 18-year-old man who was shot in the torso.
He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Another 18-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
Officials have not released the identity of the teen who was killed, pending family notification.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
