Police: Suspects Stormed Into Bronx Apartment, Robbed Man
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Friday were searching for four suspects in a home invasion robbery earlier this week in the Bronx.
Around 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, a woman knocked on the apartment door of the victim at an undisclosed location in the southeast Bronx, claiming to be his sister, police said. She had her face partially covered at the time, police said.
The victim opened the door, and three men stormed into the apartment, flashing weapons and demanding money, police said.
The suspects made off with just $50 cash and ran off to an unknown location, police said. No one was injured.
Police said the male suspects had Jamaican accents.
Police have released photos of the suspects. One man, seen in blue jeans and a gray jacket, displayed a knife, while another, seen in a blue and brown vest, displayed a handgun, police said.
