Police: Suspects Robbed Food Delivery Man In East Flatbush Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching Friday evening for a three suspects who allegedly robbed a food delivery man in building in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, the 43-year-old victim had just finished delivering food to an apartment at 755 Fenimore St. in Brooklyn, when the three robbers confronted him as he got off the elevator in the lobby, police said.

One of the suspects grabbed the man by the back and dragged him to the floor, where all three began beating and kicking him, police said.

The first suspect then took about $100 from the victim as well as his cellphone, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for injuries to his head and face, police said.

The suspects were described as three black males between the ages of 16 and 18 with thin builds. Police have released surveillance photos.
