Police: Suspects Dragged Man To Ground, Ripped Off Gold Chain In Bronx Subway Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were asking the public for assistance in finding two suspects who forced a man to the ground and ripped off his gold chain in a Bronx subway station.

Around 9:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, the 63-year-old man was in the Brook Avenue No. 6 train station in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, when two men forced him to the ground and took his gold chain from his neck, police said.

The suspects then ran off.

The suspects were both described as black males about 25 years old, standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall. One weighed about 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, light blue jeans, and white sneakers. The other was about 160 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, beige pants, and black boots.

Police have released surveillance video.
