Police: Suspect Threw Coffee, Punched Woman On F Train In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Thursday were asking the public to help them find a suspect in an assault last week on an F Train in Queens.

The assault happened on Wednesday, April 2, on an outbound F Train in Forest Hills, Queens, police said.

The female suspect threw coffee at the 53-year-old woman's face and then punched her in the face, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.

The suspect was described as a black female about 5 feet 1 inches tall, wearing a black jacket, police said.

Police have released a photo of the suspect.
