Police: Suspect Sought In Brick Kidnapping

BRICK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in New Jersey have released a sketch of one of two suspects wanted in connection with a kidnapping in Brick.

It happened around 10 a.m. on Jan. 10.

A woman was walking through the Lake Riviera section of Brick when two men pulled up in a white van with tinted windows and one of the men forced her inside, police said.

The woman said once inside the van, she was struck several times with a piece of steel and threatened with a  box cutter, police said.

The woman was able to escape as the van was driving on Georgia Drive and ran to a nearby home for help, police said.

The suspect who police said pulled her into the van is described as a white man who was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and black pants.

The driver was described as a white man, possibly with blond hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Police have released a sketch of the one of the suspects.
