Police Search For Suspect In Possible Bias Attack In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have released surveillance video of a man wanted for a possible hate crime in Brooklyn.

The incident occurred on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg on Dec. 14.

The suspect got out of his vehicle and used a homophobic slur before punching a 36-year-old man multiple times in the face, police said.

The victim fell to the ground and suffered cuts to his face and a broken nose, police said. The victim was treated and released from New York Presbyterian Hospital.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored vest, and red and black checkered pants. Police said he was seen driving a grey 2003 to 2009 Infinity FX35.

The NYPD has released surveillance video of the suspect at what appears to be a pizzeria.
