Burglars Accused Of Breaking Into 8 Homes In Astoria, Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are searching for a pair of thieves accused of breaking into at least eight homes in Queens.

The burglaries took place between June 5 and July 12 in Astoria, generally between 33^rd and 45^th streets and Broadway and 25^th avenues.

Surveillance video from the latest incident shows two men wearing baseball caps casually walk to the front of a house. They linger for a moment.

Then, a man wearing a dark shirt appears to break into the front door, while the other man appears to act as a lookout.

Police said the suspects took cash or jewelry from each home before running away.
