Police Probe Stabbing That Left Man Dead In Greenpoint Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Tuesday continued to investigate a stabbing that left a man dead following a quarrel in a Greenpoint, Brooklyn building.

Police were called to the building at 131 Dupont St. in Brooklyn around 8:35 p.m. Monday. They found Zbigniew Truszowski, 32, with a stab wound to the torso, police said.

Truszowksi was conscious when police arrived, but was later pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital Center, police said.

Police learned Truszowski had a quarrel with another man in the vestibule of the building and was stabbed.

As of late Tuesday, there had been no arrests and the investigation continued.
