An investigation showed his driver's license had been suspended 49 times and that he had gotten 34 separate tickets on 16 different days.

"He has a very long arrest history in excess of 60 arrests that we're aware of," Police Lt. David Gear told WCBS 880's Sophia Hall. "Obviously the problem is he's continuing to drive regardless of the fact that he has no privilege to do so in our state."

The Lake Grove man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, and also got tickets for speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.

The car was impounded.
