Police investigating after 2 people shot in Freehold, New Jersey

2 hurt in Freehold, New Jersey shooting

FREEHOLD, N.J. -- Police are investigating a shooting in Monmouth County, New Jersey. 

It happened Friday morning near Center Street in Freehold. 

Police say two people were shot. 

They have not released any information on the extent of the injuries or what prompted the violence.
