Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing In Huntington Station

HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Suffolk County are searching for the suspect who fatally stabbed a man in Huntington Station Saturday night.

Police responded to the rear of 14-19 New York Ave. at around 9:40 p.m. after a 911 caller reported that a 38-year-old man had been stabbed there.

Officials said when officers arrived, they found Luis Ramos-Rodriguez lying on the ground with a stab wound.

Ramos-Rodriguez, of Huntington Station, was rushed to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the investigation into Ramos-Rodriguez's death is ongoing.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office.
