Police: Burglars Struck Multiple Businesses In Elmhurst And Rego Park, Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Friday were searching for suspects in a string of commercial burglaries in Elmhurst and Rego Park, Queens.
The suspects stole a variety of items, from money and computers to drugs and even kitchen utensils, police said.
The burglaries took place at the following times and locations:
Saturday, January, 24, at Knish Nosh, 100-30 Queens Blvd. The burglars came in through the rear wall, and took kitchen utensils and an undetermined amount of money, police said;
Sunday, Jan. 25, at Midorinatsu Hibachi, 111-16 Queens Blvd. The burglars came in through a rear door and took two safe boxes, and Asus laptop, and an undetermined amount of money, police said;
Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Rainbow store at 63-22 Austin St. The burglars got in through a skylight and took assorted drugs, police said;
Thursday, Feb. 26, at Colony Drugs and Surgical, 103-19 Queens Blvd. The suspects tried to get in through a rear door, but did not make it, police said;
Friday, Feb. 27, at Vstrecha, 98-98 Queens Blvd. The suspects tried to get in through a rear door, but did not make it, police said;
Friday, Feb. 27, at Nasicha, 98-92 63rd Dr. The suspects tried to get in through a rear door, but did not make it, police said;
Wednesday, March 4, at Key Food, 92-02 63rd Dr. The suspects got in through a side door and took an undetermined amount of money, police said;
Wednesday, March 4, at DiMichale Restaurant, 102-53 Queens Blvd. The suspects got in through a rear door and took an undetermined amount of money, police said.
Police have released a photo of a man wanted for questioning, taken from a 7-Eleven store near DiMichale Restaurant. Police have not specified how many suspects they are looking for.
