Taking a look at the latest best and worst stories on the NY/NJ sports landscape:
Three Up
1. Mike Piazza
The former Mets slugger finally got the Hall call.
2. Henrik Lundqvist
He's started to rebound after an uncharacteristically bad several weeks.
3. Knicks
The Knickerbockers pulled off another big win Tuesday night, beating the Celtics 120-114. Kristaps Porzingis stayed red hot, dropping 26 points.
Three Down
1. Lionel Hollins
Hollins became the second coach in the metro area to lose his job in the past two weeks. The first was slightly more accomplished during his tenure.
2. Billy King
The Nets didn't stop with Hollins; they reassigned King, removing him from the general manager position. Fun times ahead in Brooklyn.
3. Islanders Defense
First, Johnny Boychuk went down with an injury and now Travis Hamonic joins him. This will be an extremely tough test for the Islanders.
