Pets Displaced By Hurricane Irma Among The Animals Headed To Union Square Park For 'Adoptapalooza'
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Hurricane Irma left many Florida residents displaced, including some pets who now need a new place to call home.
They'll be among hundreds of animals up for adoption at Sunday's "Adoptapalooza" in Union Square Park.
The Mayor's Alliance for New York City's Animals is sponsoring the event, which includes fun for families with music and face painting.
The adoption drive kicks off at noon and runs until 5 p.m.
