Person Stabbed On J Train Platform In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A person was stabbed on a J Train platform in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon.

CBS2 reported the incident took place at the Crescent Avenue station.

Police said a call came in around 4 p.m. regarding a big brawl with a large group of teenagers and young adults.

A 22-year-old victim was stabbed twice in the back and taken to Jamaica Hospital, according to police. He is expected to survive.

A knife was recovered at the scene. There is no word yet on a motive.
