Pass Rushing Linebacker Tamba Hali Starts For Chiefs

INDIANAPOLIS (CBSNewYork/AP) — Kansas City pass rusher Tamba Hali will start in its wild-card game at Indianapolis.

Hali didn't return to practice until Friday, and he was limited then. He shares the team lead with 11 sacks.

Chiefs right tackle Eric Fisher will not play Saturday. The No. 1 overall pick had already been ruled out because of groin and shoulder injuries. Donald Stephenson replaces Fisher, and Geoff Schwartz starts in place of Jon Asamoah at right guard.

The Chiefs (11-5) deactivated offensive linemen Eric Kush, Rokevious Watkins and Fisher; quarterback Tyler Bray; linebacker Dezman Moses; tight end Richard Gordon and defensive lineman Jerrell Powe.

Indy (11-5) deactivated defensive backs Cassius Vaughn and Sheldon Price, tight end Weslye Saunders, linebacker Daniel Adongo, offensive linemen Khaled Holmes and Joe Reitz and defensive lineman Fili Moala.
