One Suspect Apprehended, Another At Large In Brooklyn Shooting

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in tracking down a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that took place in Brooklyn.

Shortly before midnight on Saturday, January 3, two males fired shots into 2919 Surf Ave. An 18-year-old man was hit in the leg and the hip. He was taken to Lutheran Hospital in serious, but stable condition.

One suspect was apprehended on January 9, and charged with assault in the first degree.

Police are still looking for a suspect described as a Hispanic male, wearing a black jacket, and light colored sweatpants.
