Ohio State Plans Vigil For Healing After Attack
COLUMBUS, Ohio (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Ohio State University says it will hold a vigil on campus as a way to begin healing after a car and knife attack on campus injured 11 people.
The event Tuesday night will take place at the university's former basketball arena.
Classes, meanwhile, resumed Tuesday after the attack Monday morning that investigators say was carried out by Abdul Razak Ali Artan, an OSU student born in Somalia.
Police said Artan plowed his car into a group of pedestrians on campus and then got out and began stabbing people with a butcher knife before being intercepted by campus police officer Alan Horujko.

"People were really running and like really screaming," one student said. "Then I heard the three gunshots."
Police said Officer Horujko quickly shot and killed Artan.
"Our officer was on the scene in less than a minute and he ended the scene in less than a minute," said OSU Police Chief Craig Stone.
A motive is not known, but police say they're investigating whether it was a terrorist attack.
"It's an ongoing investigation to determine motive and if anybody else was involved in this act," said Stone.
Investigators towed away Artan's car late Monday and searched his townhouse for evidence. Authorities are also looking into a post he allegedly made on Facebook shortly before the attack saying he was sick of the way Muslims are being treated.
Meanwhile, the incident has left many Ohio State students shaken.
"A lot of people are experiencing fear and shock and sadness," one student said.
"I was freaking out," said another. "I wanted to know what was going on."
Ohio State's president Dr. Michael Drake is urging the community to unite as the investigation unfolds.
"What we want to do is really unify together," he said. "And then allow the investigation to take place."
A spokeswoman says two of the six people treated for injuries at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center remain hospitalized Tuesday.
A spokesman for OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital says the three people taken to Grant were discharged Monday afternoon and the two victims taken to Riverside Methodist remain in fair condition Tuesday morning.
