Off-Duty NYPD Officer Charged With DWI In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated this past weekend, reportedly after a crash in Woodside, Queens.

Officer Albert Robles, 37, was arrested at 7:10 a.m. Sunday in the 108th Precinct in Queens. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

Police did not provide further details. But the New York Daily News reported Robles was arrested after crashing into another vehicle at 47th Avenue and 69th Street in Woodside, Queens.

Police said there were no injuries in the crash, the newspaper reported.
