NYPD: Man broke woman's nose, made anti-LGBTQ remarks during argument on subway
NEW YORK -- Police are searching for a suspect in the violent attack on a woman on a subway in Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon.
Investigators are looking to identify the man they say is responsible.
They said he first grabbed a woman's butt, then followed her onto a train and punched her multiple times, fracturing her nose.
Police said the man also made anti-LGBTQ remarks before fleeing the train at Delancey and Essex streets in Manhattan.
The assault first started on the "J" train platform at Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
