Man's frightening encounter with ax wielding suspect in subway

NEW YORK - The NYPD said a man was attacked with an ax in Sunset Park, Brooklyn Tuesday morning.

It happened around 4 a.m. at 44th Street and 4th Avenue.

Police said a 31-year-old man was slashed in the stomach with the axe.

The 33-year-old suspect was taken into custody.
