NYPD Identifies Suspect In Assault Of MTA Employee

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The NYPD has identified the suspect in an assault on an MTA employee as 51-year-old Anthony Ross.

Police say the search for Ross is ongoing.

The suspect reportedly punched the MTA employee several times, which caused swelling in his face, as the employee was conducting an inspection at the Fordham Station just after 8 p.m. on September 3.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment and was later released.
