NYPD: East Village Pizza Delivery Man Robbed Of $22

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - This is one customer the NYPD wants to go.

A pizza delivery man had just finished delivering a pie to a building on Avenue D and 5th Street when he was attacked in the elevator by a man who demanded his money.

The delivery man handed over $22. The suspect took off.

The incident took place at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, about 25 years old and weighs about 160 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing camouflage pants, multi-colored sneakers and a jacket with stripes on the sleeves.
