NYPD Cruiser Torched On Upper West Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – An NYPD car was set on fire overnight on the Upper West Side.
Authorities closed off West 83rd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues.
Police said the car was parked and unoccupied when it was torched. They found paper inside with an accelerant.
Investigators knocked on the doors of nearby residents and looked for surveillance video for possible clues. So far, no arrests have been made.
