Saturday night forecast

It's been a pleasant, albeit breezy start to the weekend. For tonight, that breeze will simmer down as clouds start to increase. Lows will be a bit milder than last night, with mainly 60s and a few 50s far north and west.

Sunday forecast

CBS New York

Showers return to the region Sunday morning, but they won't last long, as skies will clear out by the afternoon hours. Rainfall totals look light, generally a quarter of an inch or less.

CBS New York

Following the clearing skies will be another period of breeziness, with winds gusting between 25-30 mph at times.

CBS New York

Highs should top out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Looking ahead

The nice weather looks to continue right into the new week before the heat and humidity return.
