5/19 CBS2 Thursday Afternoon Weather Headlines
By Justin Lewis
Some spotty showers may make it onto the radar this afternoon, but that's about it. And with some more sun on tap, we should get to around 70°.
We'll see clearing tonight as higher pressure settles in. Temps will fall into the mid 50's or so by daybreak.
There will be plenty of sunshine tomorrow as high pressure continues to settle in. And it should be even warmer than today with highs in the mid to upper 70's.
A low pressure system will approach on Saturday and spread some rain into our area. Just how far north it spreads is still in question; so, for now, the thinking is that the heaviest rain will be to our south.
And the rain will linger into late Saturday night before it makes its exit, but a cold front may bring a round of showers even into Sunday.
