New York City Jails To Resume In-Person Family Visits

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City's Department of Correction says in-person family visits to city jails will resume Wednesday.

All visitors will have to show proof of full vaccination and test negative on a rapid COVID test.

The DOC says test will be free and available at Central Visits on Rikers Island and the Vernon C. Bain Center.

Tele-visits will still be available on weekends.
