NYC Emergency Management Officials Urge Storm Preparedness

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Do you know what to do if disaster strikes?

As WCBS 880's Peter Haskell reported, emergency management officials in the city are asking New Yorkers to be ready-- but many are not.

"People are busy," one man said.

Office of Emergency Management Commissioner Joe Esposito said the city learned a lot of lessons from Hurricane Sandy.

"We come up with 12 new playbooks," he said.
