Some LIRR passengers in Mineola saw dozens of delays early Thursday morning.
"The delay isn't going to do me well today," said rider Dena Gassner. "I have to be at NYU, so I'm debating whether I should take some kind of car service instead of wait for the train."
"Hope for the best, get here early," another passenger told CBS2's Marc Liverman. "I'm ready for warm weather."
"I'm going to plan accordingly," another commuter said. "I'll probably have to leave work early to budget for time. I'm not very confident that they're going to have this resolved.
In Brooklyn, MTA crews were out early clearing platforms to make it safer for riders.
