NJ TRANSIT Main Line Service Resumes Following Early Morning Suspension

LYNDHURST, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- NJ TRANSIT has resumed rail service on the Main Line.

Service was suspended for more than an hour Friday in both directions between Glen Rock and Hoboken after a train, which wasn't carrying any passengers, struck and killed a man on the tracks.

It happened near Lyndhurst around 5:25 a.m. Friday.

Main Line trains operated by the Bergen County Line during the investigation.
