Power Problem Disrupts Amtrak Service Along Northeast Corridor
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A power outage east of Penn Station is causing significant delays on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor.
Amtrak is running a limited diesel operation between Penn Station and New Rochelle.
Customers can expect delays of up to 2 hours.
"Amtrak engineering forces are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power," Amtrak said.
Earlier, a disabled Amtrak train in one of the Hudson River tunnels delayed NJ TRANSIT trains into and out of Penn Station during the Wednesday morning commute.
