Commuters Involved In NJ TRANSIT Crash Will Be Allowed To Retrieve Personal Belongings At Hoboken Terminal
HOBOKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Commuters who were on the NJ TRANSIT train that crashed at the Hoboken terminal will be allowed to retrieve their items they may have left behind.
NJ TRANSIT said in a press release Sunday that they have set up an area at the terminal for those who were on the train to retrieve their personal property.
NJ TRANSIT said they can go to the Customer Service Office that's located in front of Track 14 to gather their personal property they left on the train.
Most of the items were recovered from the scene, but there are some items that could not be accessed at this time.
People will need to present identification to retrieve their belongings.
One person was killed and more than 100 were injured in the train crash last month.
