New York City launches School Without Walls program

NEW YORK -- New York City public schools have launched a program giving high school students hybrid and remote learning options.

It's called School Without Walls. 

The program is being offered to rising 9th graders seeking greater independence. 

There are 200 spots available.

Applications are open through July 6.
